Welcome to Ferry + Moss

Ferry+ Moss Creative Collective was started by Joanne and Jill in 2024. Joanne moved back  to Vancouver from the Kootenays in 2023  and was staying with Jill while getting settled.  We had many conversations about what to do with our creativity and desire for a community where we could find inspiration and support, a place to show our work and help other artists. 

We realized that we needed an online presence, a place to showcase and market our work as well as share our creative processes. To begin with we started meeting weekly with a small group of makers and menders. We each  bring a project we are working on and work together for a few hours. Sharing ideas and meeting weekly has been a  joyful and inspiring experience. 

Behind the scenes, Jill, Joanne and Sierra started working on Ferry + Moss, creating a website and social media presence and planning a structure for the collective. We highly recommend starting a group where you live, for community and inspiration.
