About
Ferry + Moss founding members have been friends for more than forty years. They met in the 1980s in Vancouver, B.C. when Jill was a rug weaver and Joanne was a fibre artist working at Romni Wools. The two became friends. Jill went on to study anthropology and textiles, while Joanne went to Emily Carr and became a painter. The mutual desire for creative community led them to this project.
Ferry + Moss is a creative collective displaying artists handmade work in an online gallery or market setting for show or sale. With a focus on natural materials, upcyled projects and fine arts. We will also share links to organizations that share our vision of eco- conscious and sustainable hand work practices
