I began as a rug and tapestry weaver, with a focus on colour, stripes and buildings. I have become interested in collage, the opposite of the slow, complex work of tapestry. I enjoy creating images in a few minutes, which will then take me a week to convert into a tiny tapestry. My focus has shifted over the years to sea, sky and the Canadian Northwest coast, and I have also been working with watercolours and sketching
